![]() ![]() After this, Flahgra will take some damage and this time instead of one dish needing to be knocked down, two will appear. Roll into morph ball and roll down the channels revealed when the vines pull away, once in their, get to the end and drop a morph ball bomb. Once the dish is knocked up, Flahgra will pass out temporarily. Shoot a charged shot at the red spot on the back of the dish. While locked on to him, circle around the room until you're behind the satellite dish you need to hit. Once Flahgra is subdued, use the lock on to your advantage. The best way to do this is first fire a missile or two, followed by a constant stream of power beam fire. The plan of attack here is to get rid of those satellite dish things that are putting light on him. BOSS STRATEGY 1: Flahgra Flahgra is really easy, his attacks are easily avoidable and he doesn't take much effort to beat. You win the game after defeating Metroid Prime. And form two requires good dodging, and a little bit of luck. Form one requires a lot of missiles and dodging. Thus the Meta prefix in his name Metroid Prime- Metroid Prime is encountered in the Impact Crater. He looks like good old Ridley, but metallic. You run into our good pal in the Chozo Temple in Tallon Overworld. He looks like a space pirate who's high on Phazon…actually no, but oh well. ![]() Omega Pirate- You run into this baddy in the Phazon Mines. Aside from the fact that he is magically connected, winning, you are awarded with the spider ball upgrade. He looks like a bunch of rocks connected with some sort of ultra-high powered super glue. Thardus- Thardus is encountered in the Phendrana Drifts. He is a larger version of the baby sheegoth. Sheegoth- Sheegoth is encountered in the Phendrana Drifts. After beating this boss, you are awarded with the Varia Suit. Flahgra appears as a large insect-like thing sticking out of the top of a giant flower. Flaghra- You encounter Flahgra in the Chozo Ruins. You encounter Parasite Queen above Talon 4, in the space station you begin in. The Parasite Queen appears as a big bug-like creature inside a huge tank. BOSSES The bosses, in order you fight them… Parasite Queen- I won't cover this boss, because it's pretty easy and you don't and won't need help with him or her. This technique is particularly useful when Metroid Prime (form one) launches an offensive and then charges you. Not side dashing, jumping to the side, when you reach the highest point in your jump, transform into the morph ball, while still holding the joystick in the direction you jumped, if timed correctly, you will land and roll out of harms way. Dodge+QuickRoll- To perform the dodge quick roll, double jump in the air and jump to the side. This is also useful to hit Thardus and Omega Pirate in their specific weak areas. This is useful to hit and scratch those hard to reach places, and it gives you more speed to knock down the satellite dishes in Flahgra's battle. Side Dash (offensive)- Sometimes, when you lock on to an enemy, if you repeatedly side dash and side dash, you start to circle around your enemy. Use the side dash to escape missile attacks or other projectile launches. This gives you a quick lunge to get out of the way. Side Dash (defensive)- To perform the side dash, tap the b button two times quickly while jamming the joystick right or left. This is particularly useful against Thardus and the Omega Pirate. As soon as the boss is preparing, transform into the morph ball and roll as far away as you can from the enemy. Roll- To perform the roll, wait until the boss is about to use a particularly annoying or hard to block attack. This is useful to dodge ground quake attacks etc. High Jump- This is simply jumping or double jumping in the air. These techniques are rather useful, take it from me. I have created terms for several evasive maneuvers that will aid you in your success. Sorry, but that is not an option in this case. EVASIVE TECHNIQUES To complete this game, you can't just stand in one place and shoot. June 20 something, 2003- Changed stuff around, added thingys between sections.
